Igor Mizin, an intern researcher at the Healthcare Horizon Scanning Centre, took part in the international scientific summer school at Tsinghua University
As part of the VSPH programme "Global Health. Shared Future", Igor visited leading clinical centres and pharmaceutical companies in Beijing, discussed the application of artificial intelligence in medicine with leaders of the Chinese AI community, and took part in a discussion with representatives of the Chinese office of UNICEF.

During the programme, Igor attended lectures by leading global experts on current issues in global health, including ethics, digital transformation, and the resilience of healthcare systems. Following the training, he presented a group research project to the academic leadership of the Vanke School of Public Health. The project was developed as part of an international team from Switzerland, Japan, and Singapore.
